The Balanced Literacy classroom is an animated educational asset used to train elementary school teachers and administrators on the basics of technology integration along with literacy instruction.

Seven different literacy activites are described and illustrated to help teachers understand how technology can become an integral part of literacy instruction.
Each scenario zooms in to show an activity in more detail.

The virtual classroom is enhanced through use of other pedagogical assets, such as this schematic classroom floorplan.
